Bought a house with this appliance. It's very cool in that it can cook like a separate oven, in addition to microwaving. So It's not just a microwave, which is why (I think) people in RV's or tight spaces use this as both an oven and microwave. For someone who primarily wanted a microwave, it's surprisingly obnoxious to have to use the dial to navigate menu's just to set power levels and such for the microwave, I wish they had put a few more of those features as shortcut buttons on the front. Additionally they give you a recipe book on how to use the more advanced features, but whoever they got to take pictures of the finished dishes clearly didn't know what they were doing. That's not a problem with the microwave, but just kinda shows a lack of commitment to the product. otherwise it's a good device, i love the automatic nightlight, and it's nice and large.

I love it. The programs are easy to follow. Check your food before the reheat time is up. It tends to overheat, and since you can't cover it, it could be messy. Be brave. Use the programs. Add your own recipes. Advantium is a great oven

I can navigate very easily because I have had plenty of practice. Oval casseroles are recommended for speed cook, and they do work the best. I like that we are reminded which tray to use when we poke in the command. Small portions of cookies are fine, but use your GE oven for large batches to save time. The only issue I have: the Reheat function overheats, so keep checking your food. Yes, even with accurate sizes and weights.Be brave and use the programs, and also put in your own recipes. I used to have to turn on the fan to keep steam from harming the microwave, but this one has its own fan and it seems to know when I am using the range, so no more worries about that.On the website it explains how to clean your Advantium, so I wrote the directions in the back of the cookbook that came with it. Very handy, and maybe they can do that for the next printing.

This microwave/oven is similar to our last GE microwave/oven, with lots more features. I love the two racks that I can use with this convection oven feature. It gives us so much more versatility in the kitchen. The controls are user friendly and intuitive. I love all the pre-set selections for using the microwave. It takes the guess work out of preparation. This oven must have been designed by a woman!

I have only had my microwave for about 4 months. So far so good. There is one fwTure uou ned yo look at and it's the clock. The clock doesn't stay on, I have to constantly set it. Other than that I'm pleased.

This microwave cooks very well, but it just randomly died a few years after buying it. Then, a year and a half after replacing it with the same microwave, the handle broke off, required a repair that was far more expensive than it should have been. We certainly wont be buying another one.

Received microwave after two month Covid delay and on time due to projection. This is my second Advantium oven and love the features for having three cooking methods.
This product will have issues due to its complexity so be sure to buy an extended warranty. The second day of use the display panel flashed with a code stating it has a short. Have to unplug unit to get it to reset.
GE dispatched a technician a week later. That was a little irritating since it is brand new. The technician ordered 3 parts to insure it will be fixed. This is taking a month to get all parts. Probably due to short Covid supply, so not total blame.
The concept of this product is good. GE needs to make sure it's components are produced better with a longer warranty and stock replacement parts.

It works well but the steam just doesnt seem to vent properly. It is connected to a vent pipe but lots of moisture builds up on the inside within just a couple of minutes.

This is my second GE Profile Series microwave and I love it..... but clock does not stay on all the time.... only when microwave is in use. My older model the clock never went to sleep! Not happy with this new feature.... then why have a clock?

I bought my Advantium from a scratch & dent dealer, no less, new, with a small dent and no box for a fraction of the retail full price. The interior light went out before years end, and G.E. promptly sent someone out to fix it and have never had a problem since. I have always used it multiple times per day, with using the Convection feature 3-5 times per week. I have the 120v but it microwaves as a high power microwave, so quick times. The convection is absolutely awesome and I could just not be happy without an Advantium microwave. Best fries, baked potatoes, chicken tenders, battered fish fillets, etc., etc., etc.. I did almost forget to mention, my the underneath lights that give light over my stove did go out last year, but that is small compared to the use and value, and simply easy and delicious food I have got out of this oven. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Over 15 years ago, as a test after installation, I picked up a small chicken and put it in with jucied lemon over the top and salt and pepper. Turned the Food Selector for Chicken bone in, and poof done perfectly. The skin was able to be crispy and the chicken tender. I have not over or under cooked chicken in this over the stove oven. Lots of features and a cookbook that can teach, it is a multi oven that is approachable.
What I found however is that the few techniques I did use made it very worth the technology. I recently had to replace the mica square and every once and awhile the lights. The range fan is loud and not as effective as I would prefer.

No worries about overcooking as you would have if you left food under a conventional broiler or in an oven and forgot to check it. It also includes a convection oven feature which is very handy when you have a lot of food to prepare and your conventional oven is occupied.
This is my third Advantium. First one lasted nine years and we replaced it. I left it at my last house when I moved out. We liked the Advantium concept so much that we ordered one for the house into which we recently moved. The first two were 220V models. Our current one is 110V because 220V was not available in the new house over the range. So the 110V model works fine but it takes about twice as long to prepare food using the Speed Cook feature that uses a quartz and infrared lamp to do the cooking. Our favorite is salmon which cooks perfectly every time. If you are retired l as I am, the extra time is not an issue.
If you have 220V power available or can install it, that is the way to go.

Vent broke after 12 days and GE had to come look at it and said they had to replace 4 parts but with the pandemic it would take 2 months for my parts to arrive. Luckily most of the unit was still usable but it's unacceptable for an appliance to break 2 weeks after installation. I should have returned it.

Thank you GE and Lowe's for getting our microwave in the home during the pandemic. Our family was microwave-less for over 8 months. We adjusted to using the oven regularly. When we decided on this particular microwave, after another brand failed in 18 months, it was gratifying knowing it was backed by the GE brand. Our home had this exact model installed years ago and it lasted 13 years. Although more expensive, the ability of this appliance to perform so many kitchen tasks is not only convenient, but overwhelmingly impressive. We couldn't be more happy with our purchase.

This was the first appliance that arrived during our kitchen remodel so I was really able to identify all cooking features and aspects of this appliance. I knew about speed cooking and microwave options from usage at a family member's home, but the convection oven with broiling, etc. was new to me in what looks like a microwave. Well, since it was my first appliance in, we made brownies, cupcakes, meatloaf, chicken, etc. in the first week. I really explored all features available. Loving the sensor cooking and sleek design.
