With two powerfully efficient induction elements, plus two electric elements, this 30-inch Induction Hybrid Cooktop offers the utmost cooking flexibility. And the 10" induction element offers up to 3400 watts of power, so you can bring water to a boil quickly. Induction technology is more responsive than gas or electric, and the Power Assist function generates rapid heat, so you can bring water to a boil quickly - in 90 seconds! You can adjust heat with greater accuracy than gas or electric cooktops, especially at lower settings. This makes induction elements perfect for melting chocolate and cooking delicate foods and sauces. Cooking with induction is also 70% more efficient than gas and 20% more efficient than electric.
Induction elements that are compatible with most cookware — if a magnet sticks to the bottom of a pot or pan, it will work. The sensors automatically detect the presence of magnetic cookware, activate the induction field, and adjust it to the exact size of the pan.
